The Panda’s rounded form is achieved with a sound substance composed of composite wood and solid timber which is upholstered in fabric or leather. The sofa is available in only one size. MICRO FINANCE BANK Designed to accommodate an online microfinance bank with an initial occupancy of ten full time staff with an expected increase to twelve full time staff and three part time staff. The relatively new establishment made up with young, boisterous staff stated during the briefing the need for a free open, working environment with distinct parameters without visible restraints or walling to avoid feelings of strict prohibition, a layout that allows for a fluid workflow that encourages staff to move from station to station reducing the uptightness associated with bank settings and consequently reduce sedentary time and encourage productivity and good health The office is complete with a reception and mini waiting area with wall panels, three private offices for administrative staff, demarcated with glass partitions to create a semi private office for the user that also sends the idea that all are indeed welcome. Finally, there is a small open office with workstations that seat eight staff and provide storage for documents as well as personal effects. All projects

IVY LEO A compilation of the bedroom scenes in our showroom in Maitama, Abuja. This compilation includes depictions of luxury hotel rooms fully fitted with an elaborate free-standing double bed accompanied by a single night case and side table, positioned on each side of the bed. The hotel room has a hybrid TV/dressing unit, a combination of a floating table with a small portion of the edge resting on the sideboard close to it, all collectively resting/mounted against the grooved wall panelling on the wall behind. As per hotel standard, the room also has a styling luggage rack. Alternatively, there is another room - the master bedroom with a built-in wardrobe unit and a double bed that rests against an upholstered wall panel which also functions as the headboard, continued with a bedroom bench identified as Pouf. The master bedroom has a free-standing unit with grove detailed doors and drawers that functions as a dresser/TV unit. The room is completed with a small reading area that includes a wingback chair, footrest and side table, and a sizable bathroom with a suspended vanity unit and an inset washbasin. All projects

The door leaf maintains its motion on one axis and partially disappears from sight into the sleeve, which is embedded in the wall, as the door is opened. The in-wall sliding door leaf can be ornamented with only wooden profiles and is available in all finishes. EXECUTIVE OFFICE Another depiction of the versatility of AFP’s ranges, this executive office is a space in our showroom situated in Idu dedicated to office design. Here we tackle the classic, masculine office design style, typically done with dark wood, leather and hardwood floors. AFP takes something so antique and modernises it, making it more applicable to today's climate while upholding elements and materials that stay true to the style. The wall panels are embellished with dark wooden moldings/profiles and leather-upholstered boards that also hold the simple rectangular wall lamps. Thus we created a hybrid Boiserie to emphasise the contemporary antiquity of our age. The contrast between the dark wood and light cream leather gives the space a more dynamic character, striking interest and conversation. The space is furnished with the Aso Desk finished with an eye-catching burl veneer and the same leather upholstered on the wall panel for continuity. All projects

AFP Expands Presence to Port Harcourt April 06, 2021 AFP has opened its latest Showroom in the beautiful Garden city of Port Harcourt.  The high-end AFP Port Harcourt Showroom has been carefully planned over the past two years and was finally commissioned in a 3-day exhibition of top class furnishing taste, elegance, functionality and style. Rivers State Governor, His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, was on hand to personally cut the ribbon to formally declare the AFP Port Harcourt Showroom open to clients. Wike said his administration has created a conducive investment climate in the State, and will continue to partner investors such the AFP who are taking advantage of the available opportunities. The governor said he had earlier approached the management of AFP in Abuja and encouraged them to come over to Port Harcourt to serve the South-South and South East geopolitical zones. AFP, the Governor said, has honoured their promise to eventually open a showroom in the Rivers State capital. Wike encouraged the AFP to diligently do their business, assuring the AFP management that he is convinced that they will be successful in Rivers State. Looking admiringly at the beautiful and elegantly laid out furniture on display at the showroom, Governor Wike said: “With the kind of work you have done here, and with the market, there was a need for you to bring a Showroom to Port Harcourt which will serve South-South and South-East Zone” . Speaking further, and to further incentivize the AFP employment-generating presence and work in Rivers State, Governor Wike said the State Government will award the furnishing of the State House of Assembly Quarters that is currently under construction to AFP. “We know that you will employ our people and that will reduce the level of unemployment in our State. The people will make money and feed their families” , said Wike  In his remarks at the ceremony, the South south/South east Regional Manager of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, Engr. Juergen Fischer, said the Abuja Furniture Production (AFP) has come to Rivers State to stay as a business entity. Fischer thanked the Governor for having created a conducive investment climate in the State. Fischer also said the Julius Berger-AFP is encouraged by the milestone of development witnessed in Rivers State. A collection of two television units of different dimensions, the T.V units are complete with a drawer, cabinet and small open compartment that functions as a shelf. The Togo is enlivened with the use of various materials to create more dynamism. The box rests on a base that creates a shadow gap giving the illusion of float. AFP Shines at Design Week October 31, 2022 Organiser of the epoch-making annual event, Design Week Lagos (DWL), Ms. Titi Ogufere, has described Julius Berger’s strategic business unit, AFP, as Nigeria’s leading furniture production company with no equal. Ms. Ogufere spoke at the just concluded 2022 edition of the DWL, held in Lagos, amidst similar encomiums from other high-profile visitors to AFP’s exhibition stand. She said, “The Julius Berger – AFP pavilion is a great stand with amazing new designs. Year after year in the Design Week Lagos exhibition, AFP’s product quality and strength keep pushing the standards higher. AFP is a superb Nigerian brand, consistently setting a global benchmark for the furniture industry” . The Managing Director of a leading technology company, Kawai Technologies, Otunba Akimbo Akin Olugbade spoke plainly in lauding AFP’s innovative and pioneering designs in the industry. “I have been coming to visit the AFP pavilion for years now. There is something unique about this company. Every year it stands out among every other company displaying products. AFP always presents high quality, durable and new designs that can compete with the best anywhere in the world. Interestingly, AFP products are all made in Nigeria” , he said. AFP’s Head of Designs, Shamsi Kazaure in a short interview said, “…we are primarily here to display our new furniture designs, introduce them to trendy clients and give our new designs the right exposure, thereby creating more awareness” . He also added, “We are here just to discuss and explore with clients on the new trends as every item of furniture on display here is new” . The four-day event was declared open by His Royal Highness, the Oniru of Iruland, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, who was accompanied to the event by some of his Palace Chiefs. In his comment, the Royal Highness noted that, “AFP has been consistent in this business of providing new and exquisite designs of furniture every year. Your beautiful standard continues to improve. Do keep up the good work and services” . Celebrity Nollywood actress, Journalist and singer, Toyin Bello who also visited the AFP Pavilion was astounded by the new designs. Her remarks: “AFP! Your products are great! Little wonder, you are of the Julius Berger Group. Keep it up!” . Head of Properties (West Africa), Standard Chartered Bank, Anne Rinu, was also amongst the many other guests who visited the AFP Pavilion at the event. Conceived to present and celebrate the best in contemporary African design across categories, while bringing international field leaders and visitors to experience the most exciting work from the region, DWL, which is the third in the series, was founded by African design advocate, Titi Ogufere. DWL was first held in 2019 as a citywide celebration in Lagos, Nigeria, for over ten days promoting creativity and innovation across disciplines, including architecture, industrial design, interior design, furniture design, graphic design, and technology. The theme for the event this year was, “Beyond the Box”. The AFP team at the event was led by its Commercial Manager, Norbert Kossman.
