A home cinema designed for a family of theatre and film enthusiasts. This space is designed as an initiative to increase family bonding time. They all agreed they wanted a mix between a traditional theatre and a luxury commercial cinema. AFP achieved this fusion with the use of wall panelling. The walls of the cinema room were decorated in a strong red velvet fabric, reminiscent of the walls of a theatre. To avoid monotony, the fabric is broken with wood at intervals.
The room is equipped with fully automated recliner chairs with ample sitting space and thick armrest for extra comfort. Like the desired luxury cinema, the cinema chairs are strategically placed on an elevated plane to further push the commercial cinema-going experience to the finish line. Amber mood is achieved with lighting design to inspire reverence and anticipation for what thrills are to come.
